First sketch...

As a poly student. This is my work or image making. took me quite long to do it. Hating the mini squares, triangles and circles. so many assignment just in the beginning of school, poly life. hardly have time to blog. Makers who sent me samples, I'll still do write-ups. But probably slowly withdrawing from SY.

Maped Stand Up Pencil case

Got this Maped Stand Up pencil case, I'm fresh to this, god knows when was the last time I used a proper pencil case. I went to get stuff for Monday class, and was thinking of getting a pencil case that looks cool or something then I came across this, it doesn't look cool to me, but I think it's simple and kind of serve a purpose. Unzip it, fold the cover, and it stands up like in the last picture. Neat.

sky and clouds~

took some again yesterday~

beautiful.

Orientation 3rd and last Day~

Performance night on the 3rd day!
 cheers and dance!

didn't really take much photos~
the last day, we didn't have our phones with us, so didn't manage to take photos too, wanted to take pictures with each GLs, when we took our phone back, we were leaving already, so I quickly took one with Carmen and Sam~
I appreciate what the GLs have done for us, all the late nights, yes, we stayed late, so did they, they lost their voice, they're still as energetic. saw Carmen's fb wall photos and realise they've been staying late to prepare days before the camp too, it's really tiring. They made the camp so fun and enjoyable, something I wasn't expecting. So thanks fellas.

SAKUN bag for birthday present~

Uploaded on Razzi.me
Sis got me this small messenger bag from SAKUN for my birthday. I needed one smaller bag, especially a messenger bag, something I can put very little stuff when I'm going somewhere near, or when I'm just heading out to film a video when I don't need to bring too much stuff. This will come in handy!

more pictures of the sling, the inside, and the cover.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
adjustable sling like any other bag.

cover that's removable form the bag entirely.
but I think the idea wasn't to remove the cover, it's for user who are lazy to unbuckle the cover, they can undo the velcro at the back of the bag/cover to open the bag.

Will be using this pretty often I guess~

Adidas Blue Basketball!

Uploaded on Razzi.me
Mum let me buy a basketball today!
I was going to get just the Jump Rope, then I was talking to her about the blue basketball, then she ask me if I want. I remember wanting to get a Spalding one and she was reluctant because it was over S$90. But this is below S$40, it's a indoor/outdoor one, and I like the striking color, it's not high quality leather ball but I like how it feels. First Adidas basketball. Also first basketball since I got enlisted to NS. soooo long....

And then... I notice a tear on my favorite And1 indoor ball.... )):

Never been played outdoor, nor indoor, never left the house, almost ten years since I got it.
Suddenly a scratch this big. )):
It was the original And1 logo, before they were easily available in Singapore for sale, I got it at Queensway. But oh nevermind... long enough.

I bought Jump Rope

Uploaded on Razzi.me
Today I bought a pair of Jump Rope. You use "a pair" to describe a Jump Rope right...?
Anyway, have decided to get one so I can skip in the free time and when I'm lazy to go for a jog, really gotta lose the extras. So, I bought it, the rope was too long, and I have to shorten it, and then I thought... it's not hard, but there may be people who don't know how to shorten it, yes, that very minority of them.
So I thought I'll take pictures of how I shorten it, and post here... I know there'll be people who think, "it's so easy, com'on!" But I just feel like doing it. So here goes~

Uploaded on Razzi.me
So the one I got is a Jump Rope by Kettler, I've work in a sports equipment shop before, most jump rope handle works the same, so look at the base of the handle, you'll see a cap. remove it.
Uploaded on Razzi.me

Uploaded on Razzi.me
after removing the cap, you'll see the rope inside, just extend it out.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
they usually have a knob thingy that "lock" the rope so it'll stop at a range/length at the hole of the handle, uh... hope you get what I mean.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
for this case, you see there's two pieces of whatever you call it... the inner piece is to lock on to the rope, the outer piece is to hole the lock in place so it won't come loose.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
so you remove that piece that holds the lock...
Uploaded on Razzi.me
this thing. there's a sharp thing on it that kinda pierce onto the rubber rope, so you loosen it...
Uploaded on Razzi.me
and pull it down further to shorten the rope length, pull it up to lengthen.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
after you're done pulling, lock it with the cover.
Uploaded on Razzi.me

Uploaded on Razzi.me
done? slot it back into the handle.
Uploaded on Razzi.me
excessive rope too long? bend it.
Uploaded on Razzi.me

Uploaded on Razzi.me
slot it in, and close it back with the cover.

Done~
Now you can go skip!

I love my Hyper Cluster

Uploaded on Razzi.me
Hyper Cluster~ one of my new favorite yoyo.
grown-ups who used to play yoyo should know and heard about Hyper Yoyo back in 1998, there was another wave in 2004, and then back now in 2012 in Japan, and each wave they will collab with big brands like Duncan and Yomega, this year, there's Yoyofactory, one of the biggest brand in yoyo, the people behind Yoyofactory are the ones who brought you Proyo(which was also one of the biggest brand back in the days), Yo-hans, and one of the performer of that time, Ben McPhee. But that's not the main point actually... actually, I just wanted to share this yoyo, like I mentioned, every Hyper Yoyo wave, there's a special yoyo, like the Hyper Dragon and stuff, in the 2004 wave I don't remember seeing anything special, but this year, they have the Hyper Cluster, it's not exactly something that plays really great if you must ask for my opinion, but it's a collectable yoyo, and pretty cool in a way, you can take it apart, okay, most yoyos of today can be taken apart, but this one? in a much cooler way.

Uploaded on Razzi.me
You see that huge button thing with spring inside of it? you press it and you can remove the halves out. And you can also change to other shapes that are available for purchase, in Japan or online stores. The way you slot it on is also pretty cool, at least I think so. For professional play, maybe it's redundant, for but collecting's sake, and the fun of it, to make it look cool, it's not~

I got this back in AP2011, I got Hiroyuki to help me buy it, and I got it form him during the event. But now Singapore are selling them, I think?
I love the packaging, I dig toys packaging. But it's a little huge for storage... but everything looks so nice.
Sowhen I got this, it didn't came with bearing, I took mine from my old yoyos, this is the basic edition that came with nylon sleeve axle, so to me it's not as fun, so I replaced it.

Uploaded on Razzi.me
so I'm actually using Tigershark G4's spacer, but I didn't include the mini o-ring behind the spacer, for those who know, there's actually this really thin and small o-ring for the spacers of the Tigershark G4.
And also... mine's a starburst, I didn't get to own a one with pad response... ):

When holding it, it feels a little rim weighted, but during play it actually feels light, I can't say it's really smooth but I like it, some old school feel, to me, it's not stable, it tilts, it's 1-2 tug responsive on a starburst, because my bearing is pretty much stocked from back in the old days, I have never cleaned them. But I love starburst, I like them in a way, I can't really explained why I like them, but I do.
And it's a pretty narrow yoyo compared to yoyo of today, but for some reason I like everything about it, or maybe I just dig Hyper yoyos. I tried playing with Duncan size spacers and bearing, and it works, but it slips most of the time, my guess is gap is slightly too wide, maybe you could try using thinner spacers.

If you're looking for something to compete with, this is definitely out.
If you want something somewhere between old school and new school, get this, it's fun~
If you're a collector, I don't need to tell you what to do.

I want more versions!
