Tonight is a random night where I decide to show some samples of the macro photos with the macro lens of the 3 in 1 clip on lens kit.

I am still using the iPhone 5S, with the macro lens kit. Below are the photos of their normal range and with macro lens. Check out the details on those stuff I shot.

So, nothing much, just sharing these photos, a quick entry that I hope benefits anyone who may be interested in macro lens for their mobile gadgets.

Undefeated, Vans & Evisu!

Was out with mum and sis today, and got a couple stuff.

First off, a new tee for me from Undefeated, it's a reflective one. Love reflective stuff, printed one myself before, had a Aape one, but I didn't blog about those though. But just feel like sharing what I got today so yea.

Up next, a pair of Vans. My sis acquired a $50 voucher that can be used for Stadium/Royal Sporting House & some brands including Vans. I was gonna try to get a pair or Nike AF1s or Jordans but to no avail. So Vans it shall be. Been eyeing this one for a while now, and since it's not exactly overpriced in my opinion, just need to top a little, I'm getting this.

Lastly. Evisu. Been wanting to get a pair of Evisu jeans but no way I could afford one.

Bread and Butter is having 50% off selected model and 20% off regular, not sure if all regular items, but well, I'm only looking at the 50% off one, that's only when I can afford to get a pair. I'm not sure how long the sale will last so better jump on it now.

and this also, not last, in fact it's the first thing I got of the day, card holder.

I've been using my Primitive one, but not longer than a year, it was pretty expensive, but it's pretty used even though not for very long. Ever since I got it, I've been looking at card holders, I never use one last time at all. So was walking around with my sis as she's looking for a bag for herself, we came across this, and my mum was like, buy it, so yea we got it. It has more slots, and stuff, I like it, a lot. Ain't gonna wait until the Primitive one worn out, just gonna transfer all my cards over!

So I was saying, Bread and Butter are having sale, but I have no idea for how long, so jump on it before it ends. The Herschel Supply regular card holders I saw were going for around 39.90SGD, and the leather ones are like 59.90SGD? so if you want one, I got them at Cineleisure, of course, may other places sell them too. Got the Undefeated Tee at Cineleisure too, there's a couple pretty new designs so yea, go see. Nothing much on Vans, so ya.

instax mini 90 NEO CLASSIC from Fujifilm

First of all, what I have here is a custom color that was available through this place call Passion Gadget, that's why it's not the regular colorway. I like mint, so yea.

I've had this for a while now, since... March 2014. But I really haven't use it enough, there wasn't any occasion and stuff, I usually really only use it when I'm hanging out with my friends, because I really like making memories with them. That's the main reason why I got myself one of this. Photos, are in my opinion, the best memories.

So I really like this camera, not only because of the color, but because of the function as well. I don't really have any instax photo I can share here, but I'll probably take some to share in the future.

But I would like to quickly point out some of the features and function that I really like.

So this is what you'll first see when you turn it on.

One of the function here is the ability to off flash, yea, I really don't like flash/auto-flash.

I believe I'm not the only one. This is really a plus plus for me, flash makes thing look ugh most of the time if not all the time, making the background look so dark and your face so bright and all, okay maybe unless you actually want it that way.

Another other feature here is the ability to make your photo darker, or lighter, so since flash is off, you may or may not want your photo to still be lighter/brighter, or darker maybe in the bright day-light. this one is good for my female friends who doesn't want to look too dark in the photos. Even though they already look good in them.

This one, another of my favorite, double exposure. Double exposure, on an instax. How cool is that? I really like this feature, but I hardly use it. But hey, at least I can use it anytime I want, on an instax camera.

So, here's what I want to share quickly, not much review and anything, I'll take some photos and have them scanned and get them posted up, well, films need money you know, and I'm not earning much, really. so, I'll update again when I have them. All photos here taken with iPhone 5S if it helps.

UI UX sites I came across~

So I have been busy, with stuff.
I am currently in an internship programme, and I was going through a few sites that is ui ux related, because I really need to widen my knowledge about it, I mean like, I really need to see more ui, mobile ui to be exact.

And here are some sites that I came across, which I don't know... maybe would help those that are looking for references as well?

I don't know if these are the common sites, or the best reference, I'm new to this too, but thought I'd share, hope you new designers find this helpful.

iPhone

5x Telephoto Lens for Mobile Devices

I got this a while back but haven't really share anything about it.

But here's a video sample of it first.

Pardon the audio, my hands was blocking the mic.
So you can see the video seems a little shaky and a little distorted, that kinda upset me, if you're okay with the distortion, I think you can consider getting one though. The video quality is after all still very clear. I am using an iPhone 5S for this video. It's a little bulky as compared to the usual fisheye, wide-angle and macro lens, but it's still very portable of course. I haven't really take any photos with it, or enough videos for you to gauge anything, but I'll try to do so when I have the time. But ultimately, I would say the video quality is still very clear, if you're shooting static shot, the shakiness won't affect, but the distortion is something you might want to take into consideration.

SJ4000, a pretty good GoPro alternative

So I recently got myself a SJ4000 finally, after trying out the cheaper 720p action cam.

I wanted to save up and get a GoPro 3+ Silver edition but it's out of my budget, but I'll still eventually get one once I can afford to. But for now, the SJ4000, I would say, is a very good alternative to that.

Some pictures before I move on, I only took pictures of the camera and the case, not the accessories though.

So, I consider quite a bit before I decide to spend on this, firstly, the quality is pretty good, it's in 1080p 30fps. The GoPro I wanted has 120fps in 720p which I wanted but for now I'll settle for this. And then, this thing is compatible with a GoPro head mount strap, which is great, I think that's pretty much the main reason why I settle for this. I'm not so much of a tech guy so I won't go into details about the specs and stuff, I'll just show you guys the video samples.

This is entirely shot on the SJ4000, no filter, no color corrections, just added a watermark and exported to YouTube using iMovie.

I'll post more if I ever make any video using the SJ4000 again, and if I actually take any photos with it.
